WOOL

Wool is a fibre for all seasons, it has unique insulation properties allowing it to be worn in the heat of the day and into the chill of the night. Wool is a low allergy fibre which is naturally flame, soil and water resistant. Wools natural properties keep you cool in summer and warm in winter, reducing body odours, keeping you fresher longer. Perfect for sport, work or play. Wool has the ability to to allow your skin to breathe, it absorbs up to 30% of its own weight in moisture which is gradually released into the air. Even when wet, wool retains warmth. Wool wears remarkably well, each wool fibre is made of millions of coiled molecules that stretch and give, rather then break, this is why wool garments last for years and years.

 HEMP

Hemp is the plant of the past and will be the plant of the future. More and more people discover the countless ways of using hemp and it will undoubtedly become a bigger part of our daily life. Hemp is made from the stems of the Cannabis Sativa plant and is among world's most durable and eco-friendly natural fibres. Hemp farming requires very little water and can be grown without the use of toxic herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers. Hemp renews the soil with each growth cycle because it is a nitrogen-fixing plant. It's long roots also prevent erosion and produce more fibre per acre than trees and can be harvested two to three times a year. Another important factor is that nothing is wasted in the production process: seeds are used to make oil and food supplements, while the stalks are used for fibre. The production of hemp is cost effective and easy on the environment and you may say that purchasing clothes in hemp supports the transition to a healthier planet. When thinking of hemp, the illegal plant marijuana still often comes to mind, in spite of the fact that the industrial hemp fibres do not contain any narcotic chemicals. Clothes in hemp are lightweight, breathable, absorbent, long lasting, comfortable and 4 times stronger than cotton. It is, furthermore, UV resistant and helps block out the sun's harmful rays, as well as wick sweat away from the body.

SILK

Silk is smooth, sensuous and light. Silk is comfortable in any temperature with superior breathability and moisture management. Silk is as warm as wool, itch free, fast drying, absorbs 30% of moisture without feeling damp and wont hold body odour. Silk is warm when wet as it has exothermic properties . The absorbed moisture is evaporated into the environment or absorbed by outer clothing layers. Silk naturally regulates temperature, therefore can be worn summer and winter.

COTTON

Cotton is a vegetable seed grown in warm humid regions and cotton fibre is indeed the single most important fibre because of its versatility and durability. It is easy to dye and clean, but most importantly extremely gentle and breathable on the skin due to the fibres capability to absorb perspiration quickly.

BAMBOO

Bamboo is incredibly soft, naturally. Wearing a bamboo t-shirt, is like wearing cashmere, next to the skin.  Bamboo is smooth and luxuriously comfortable. Bamboo wicks away moisture keeping you comfortable and dry. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world, mainly because it has extraordinary water absorbency which helps it to grow fast.  In fabric form it retains this unique, remarkable property.  It’s 3-4 times more absorbent than cotton.  It 'wicks' away moisture from the body which then evaporates, keeping you - naturally - drier and more comfortable.  Bamboo is warm in winter and cool in summer.  Bamboo clothing is strong and durable. Bamboo is perfect for sensitive skin, and has achieved a score of 50 on the UPF scale (Ultraviolet Protection Scale), which amounts to a 98% reduction in UV activity reaching your skin.

MICROMODAL - BEECH WOOD

Beech wood - The origin of MicroModal. MicroModal  is beech wood made from sustainably managed forest. The cellulose is extracted from indigenous woods and used for the making of modal. The quality is guaranteed through the control of the whole manufacturing process from wood to fibre. The standards of the raw material defines the quality and makes Modal so unmistakable and is 100% natural. MicroModal can be spun into extremely fine yarns - a touch of nature  It is about 50% more water-absorbent per unit volume than cotton. It takes dye just like cotton and is colour-fast when washed in warm water. Textiles made from Modal are resistant to shrinkage and fading. They are smooth and soft, more so than mercerized cotton, to the point where mineral deposits from hard water do not stick to the fabric surface.
